I am back and I am so sorry that I have been MIA for a bit! I went to CA for a week then came back just to go back on a 10 day family reunion here in Wisconsin two weeks later with my family! Below are some pictures and vlogs I took/filmed!

I decided since I've done a lot of traveling in the last month, I wanted to give you some tips and tricks for traveling, whether it be by plane or car! :)
Tips & Tricks For Traveling With A Disability
For Planes
1. Always wear easy shoes to take on & off for security.
It's always a hassle to have to put your stuff in baskets and take off belts and shoes and go through security in a swift manner when disabled. My advice is wear simple shoes. If your disability is more severe, you can ask to NOT take your shoes off.
2. Give yourself more time. It's okay.
Get to the airport or to your gate early. It's okay to sit there for a while. Better safe than sorry.
3. If you can, check your bags.
If you have less things to carry, the easier it will be to get around the airports (if you have connections). I know, personally, the more I have to carry, the more strain I put on my body. WHEN IN DOUBT, CHECK IT.
For Cars
1. Always put your bags in early.
If you put your bags in ahead of time, when you're rushing to leave you'll only need to grab your purse (or bag for men :P)
2. Don't eat and drive. (Or text for that matter)
It's just a bad idea. I'm as coordinated as a drunk baby. Driving for me is a full time gig, no multitasking. If you have a long drive where you need to eat. Always stop. If you don't want to have to deal with parking, getting out, getting food, carrying food, etc then go through the Drive Thru and then sit in your car. It might take more time but at least it's safer.
3. Pack light.
That is to say, pack a lot but light. If you know you're not going to have help, then don't pack a lot of things into one bag. The heavier the bag, the more likely it's out of my league. Multiple bags might mean more trips to the car, but you won't be breaking your back. :)
Hope this helped you guys! It was definitely a hassle for me to travel but the end result, hanging out with my family, is always worth it! If you have any questions about traveling or traveling with a disability please comment them below or contact me! :)
