Below is a list of different resources. Since I live in Wisconsin, some of the more detailed resources will be in Wisconsin. If you need information for places near you please contact me and I will get all the information you need. Also, I am always adding to this list so please check back later.
Cerebral Palsy Resources
- The one page I would say, for me, was the most useful is United Cerebral Palsy. They have resources for health tips, help for getting work, physical therapy resources, provide educational materials for parents and families, and have locations nationwide.
- The other website that I like is CerebralPalsy.org
- If you are living in Wisconsin, Cerebral Palsy, Inc. provides adult and child services, physical therapy, and camp sessions for northeast Wisconsin.
LGBT Resources
- If you are looking for a local LGBT Center to meet new people or get more info go to the LGBT Centers Page to find your nearest Center. I am constantly adding to the list so if you know of one in a smaller town, please contact me so I can add it!
- The Gay-Straight Alliance network is also a great place to start for information and ways for your straight friends and family to join forces.
- There is also the Gay Lesbian Straight Education Network. They help LGBT youth in the educational system.
Anti-Bullying Resources
- One of my favorite resources for anti-bullying is the Trevor Project.
- If you have a disability and are being bullied, you can go to PACER, the national bullying prevention center.
- Information on online bullying and ways to help, you can go to STOP cyberbullying.
